Overview: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Shift: 0.9; 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families. Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health with in the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers. Responsibilities: * Provide specialized nursing care to newborns including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and supporting infants with complex medical needs such as prematurity, respiratory distress, or congenital conditions. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for infants and provide emotional support and education to families. * Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards in neonatal care, maintaining meticulous documentation, and staying current with best practices in neonatal nursing including advanced life support and infant resuscitation techniques. Qualifications: Education: * Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. * Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
