				Overview:

​​CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed critical access hospital, a 26-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and an Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments. Since opening in 1952, CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison has been dedicated to serving the residents of Garrison and the surrounding rural communities. The hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed program, and acute care services.

You'll work under the supervision of our Director of Nursing, collaborating to plan, oversee, and evaluate patient care.

As an RN in Long Term Care, You Will:

* Lead Patient Care: Utilize the full Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
* Assess & Observe: Collect, record, and report critical assessment data, identifying changes in health status to establish nursing diagnoses.
* Collaborate & Delegate: Work seamlessly as a team member, effectively delegating components of nursing care to other healthcare team members and reporting intervention status.
* Document & Educate: Meticulously document nursing interventions and resident responses, and actively participate in teaching plans to empower residents and families.
* Uphold Standards: Maintain adherence to the State Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and our mission, demonstrating proficiency in all unit skills.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure:  Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.  Graduate Nurse (G. N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.

Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
