Registered Nurse (RN) - Dayfield OBGYNLocation: Summerville, SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Dayfield OBGYN is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our women's health team in Summerville, SC. The RN plays a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care by collaborating with providers and clinical staff to support patients throughout their healthcare journey.
The RN establishes strong, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems while delivering evidence-based nursing care in accordance with Novant Health policies and procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and a commitment to providing safe, respectful, and compassionate care in a busy OB/GYN practice.
Responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with physicians and care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
* Provide direct nursing care using evidence-based practice and compassionate communication
* Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients and their families
* Ensure compliance with Novant Health policies, procedures, and quality standards
* Maintain accountability for patient care outcomes and clinical documentation
Education:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
* 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience:
* One year of acute nursing experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
* Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
