Facility: Clements Ferry Emergency DepartmentLocation: Clements Ferry, SCDepartment: Emergency RoomPosition Type: Full Time (36 hours)Work Schedule: 7p-7a
Responsibilities:
* Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse
* Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients
* Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients
* Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified)
* Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
* Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports department goals
* Delivers nursing care aligned with established practice standards and clinical guidelines
* Must be willing and able to float to comparable nursing units as needed
Qualifications:
* Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
* Successful completion of nursing service orientation program
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
* NRP preferred (provided during training if not currently certified)
* TNCC required within one year of hire
* IV therapy competency within one year
* Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competencies
* Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
