Our Family Care Unit at Betty Cameron's Women's and Children's Hospital is looking for an experienced RN with a passion for supporting families through their earliest moments together. * Schedule: 7pm-7am, Night Shift, Full-Time

Responsibilities:
* Provide compassionate, hands-on care to mother-baby couplets, performing thoughtful assessments and initiating treatment plans that support healing, bonding, and comfort for families (typically 3-4 couplets per shift).
* Guide moms through their earliest postpartum milestones-from first assisted walks to stomach compressions and feeding support-helping them build confidence in their recovery and new routines.
* Support families as they learn their baby's first cares, offering gentle coaching in diapering, feeding, bathing, and soothing so they feel empowered and reassured every step of the way.
* Monitor mothers and newborns closely, watching for signs of postpartum complications, changes in breathing or coloring, and other concerns-ensuring safety, early intervention, and peace of mind.
* Collaborate with physicians and care team members to create seamless, safe patient experiences on our 20-bed unit-while documenting care thoughtfully and preparing families for confident, informed discharge.
Qualifications:
* Education:
* High School Diploma or GED, required.
* 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* **Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
* Experience:
* One-year of RN Work experience, required.
* One-year relevant experience, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification:
* Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
