Patients come from all over the world for treatment at Virginia Mason. Several endoscopic advances as well as novel therapeutic treatments are in use at Virginia Mason, including ERCP with endoscopic ultrasound. Together these modalities produce exquisite images of the biliary tree, pancreas, and liver, and allow dual modality drainage for severe cases of pancreatic necrosis as well as other pancreaticobiliary disorders. Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing care across a diverse patient population with a wide variety of acute and critical conditions. Our nurses assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.

Qualifications:
We require:
* Current WA State RN license is required before start date.
* One (1+) years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
* CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
* Specialty Certification CGRN preferred.
* ACLS will be required within 60 days of hire.
(2) 10 hour shifts per week + call
Preferred Qualifications:
* Current GI Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred. Will consider RNs with ICU or special procedures experience.
* Experience with conscious sedation.
This position does require some on call shifts: The requirements are: (1) full weekend per month. The weekend on call begins Saturday morning at 7am - Monday at 07.00am; plus (2) weeknights per month. These two weeknight shifts are generally NOT scheduled back-to-back. Weeknight call begins at 5:30pm-0700 am.
