One California Responsibilities: As our Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you'll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency. Every day you will provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric. You will adeptly manage more complex patient situations with assistance and supervision, and actively assist in overseeing patient care administered by other nursing staff. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Qualifications: Required * Graduate of an approved school of nursing. and RN with three (3) years of current, acute care, Med-Surg or Telemetry experience * Registered Nurse: CA * Basic Life Support - BLS * Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Preferred * EKG Basic Arrhythmia
