Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

* Completes a thorough pre-operative assessment on all assigned patients. Makes sure all test results, History and Physical and consents are on chart prior to surgery.
* Performs assessment on pediatric and geriatric patients taking into consideration the physiological and anatomical differences specific to each age group. Identifies any specific consideration that may be necessary related to each age specific group.
* Observes, identifies and collects data to identify nursing care needs of the patients.
* Identifies supplies, instruments and equipment needed for the procedure, surgeons preference card, age, and specific needs of patients.
* Plans for the coordination of support intraoperative period, i.e., x-ray, pathology, etc.
* Provides quality nursing care based on patient's needs and plan of care. Supervises the care given by Surgical Techs.

Qualifications:

Required

* Graduate of an accredited RN program
* Registered Nurse: CA
* Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days 
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 30 Days 
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 30 Days
