CHI Health St. Elizabeth, founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration in 1889, is a full-service, 260-bed, nonprofit regional medical center in Lincoln, Neb. St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care, women's health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience.
Responsibilities:
The Intensive Care Unit at CHI Health St. Elizabeth is a 16-bed critical care unit, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients with many disease processes. The ICU is a Beacon Award for Excellence - Gold Status recipient from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), signifying excellence in quality, safety, and experience..
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient's individual physician. This will involve utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:
* Monitoring patients' conditions and assessing their needs
* Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
* Administering patients' medications and providing treatments according to physicians' orders
* Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Compensation: Base rate + shift differential
Incentives: up to $10,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
Tuition Reimbursement - $5,525 for full time and $2,750 for part time

Qualifications:
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program
* Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required
* Specialty certification (ex: PCCN, CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred
* Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
