Responsibilities:

This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance

Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and
delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. Is
held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the
mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

Essential Functions
-Performs triage by assessing patient's health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or
pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs.
-Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
-Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment
required to care for patients based on assessed needs.
-Works collaboratively with providers to provide exceptional care.
-Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
-Provides patient and family education.
-Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format
and on the appropriate forms.
-Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas.
-Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies.
-Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

Required Licensure and Certifications:

* Current RN license in the State of Kentucky
* BLS
* ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
* TNCC (within 12 months of hire)
