St. Thomas More Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, is the cornerstone of health care services for Fremont County and surrounding southern Colorado communities. St. Thomas More offers 24 hour emergency and trauma services; inpatient acute care; intensive care; labor, delivery, and nursery care; multi-modal diagnostic imaging; inpatient and outpatient surgical services; rehabilitation services; cardiopulmonary rehab and diagnostics; sleep studies; an infusion center; wound care; and a community blood bank. Join our team as a House Supervisor. The House Supervisor is responsible for coordination and direction of safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital by providing a communication link with ED, patient registration, LIPs and nursing units. As a House Supervisor you will:

* Serve as clinical resource person in delivery and supervision of direct and indirect care processes. 
* Provide competent leadership and direction for all hospital Codes and emergency management. 
* Act as agent for department and hospital executives when they are not present and reports concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.

The schedule involves 3 12 hour shifts per week 0645-1915 with rotating weekends and holidays. 

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 

* Two years clinical RN experience required
* 1-year clinical leadership experience, preferred
* BSN required within 2 years of hire
* MSN preferred
* RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
* PALS or ENPC required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
* TNCC required within 6 months

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
