CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

What you'll be doing (the exciting bits!):

* Prep Pro: Get patients procedure-ready, reviewing histories, labs, and making sure everything's lined up perfectly.
* Communication King/Queen: You'll be the central hub, keeping everyone on the same page - from surgeons to families.
* Efficiency Master: Help us keep our Heart & Vascular Center running like a well-oiled machine, optimizing schedules and resources.
* Patient Educator Extraordinaire: Ease anxieties by clearly explaining procedures and post-op care.
* Safety Champion: Ensure we're always meeting top-notch safety and compliance standards.
* Follow-Up Fanatic: Monitor progress, coordinate discharge, and prevent readmissions - because we care beyond the procedure.

Qualifications:

Are you our perfect match?

You'll need:

* An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
* An active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
* At least 1 year of acute hospital clinical experience (or a Master's degree in Nursing)
* BLS certification (or get it within 3 months of hire)
* Killer critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
* A passion for teamwork and a self-directed attitude

Bonus points if you have:

* A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
* 5+ years of nursing experience
* Certifications like CCM, ACM-RN, or UM
* ACLS certification (we'll help you get it!)
* Knowledge of managed care and CMS standards
