Overview: Provides administrative and clinical oversight on an assigned shift and campus. Responsibilities: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions) * Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing. * Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures. * Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management. * Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues. Qualifications: JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Thorough knowledge of emergency management protocols, risk identification and regulatory requirements. * Excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking skills. * Ability to operate medical equipment and administer medications. * Ability to coordinate workflow with various departments. * Ability to multi-task. * Ability to lead and direct the work of others. * Ability to provide a positive attitude, support the organization and work with team members. * Must be courteous, kind, compassionate and caring. EDUCATION * Bachelors Nursing Required * 4 Healthcare/Medical - Nurse: Staff Required * Licensed Registered Nurse * Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.
