Overview: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Seeking and experienced RN with Charge experience who can be a department anchor. Every third weekend rotation. As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, you'll play a vital role in providing expert nursing care, assessing patient conditions and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive health outcomes. What You'll Do: * Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment. * Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs. * Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision and adherence to clinical best practices. * Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans and self-care strategies to support recovery. * Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. * Advocate for patients by fostering open communication, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive healthcare experience. Location: This position is based at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, IL, part of Memorial Health's network of care. Education, Licensures & Certifications * Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required * BSN preferred * Licensed RN in Illinois * CPR certification required or must be completed during onboarding Experience * New graduates and experienced RNs welcome * 2-3 years of acute care experience preferred
