In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more! Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health. * Assesses patient's health and continuously monitors; completes Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Patient Assessments; detect changes and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs * Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol * Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs * Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care * Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures * Provides patient and family education If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. Qualifications: Education and Experience * Associate's Degree in Nursing, Required upon hire. Licensure and Certifications * Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND), Required upon hire. * American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required upon hire.
