Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator. In the role of RN Clinical Coordinator you will: * Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line. * Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards. * Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties. * Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates. * Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. * Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Day to Day:- This will cover Neuro and Trauma service lines * Maintain the day-to-day efficiencies of the service line * Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs/ practices for department associates. * Act as leadership within the department * Act as liaison between surgeons and staff * Assist with training staff and evaluating competency * Oversee supplies and instruments necessary for service line * Create and update preference cards * Assist with staffing * Will also be used on occasion to help out in the rest of the OR One year RN experience in operating room required Previous leadership/ charge experience highly preferred 17 OR Suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid Room, Designated CVOR and a Cystoscopy Suite-450-500+/ month Schedule: 40hrs/wk-Variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs. Call required approx. 4 call shifts in 6 week schedule block. Typically, no weekend call unless covering team members PTO. 30Min Callback radius Required. **This position will also be eligible for the Clinical Ladder Qualifications: In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Education * Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required * BSN, preferred Licensure * RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required * Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred Experience * Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. Physical Requirements * Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
