Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator. In the role of RN Clinical Coordinator you will:

* Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line. 
* Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards. 
* Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and duties. 
* Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates. 
* Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. 
* Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 

* Required Experience:
* One year experience preferred
* Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.

* Required Education:
* Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's

* Required Licensure/Certifications:
* RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact, 
* Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. * BLS from the American Heart Association
* NIHSS required within 6 months of hire or transfer

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
