Overview: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Shifts Available: * Full-Time: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM * Part-Time: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse will provide acute nursing care to the behavioral health care patient utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care. The behavioral health nurse promotes mental health through the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health problems, mental disorders and comorbid conditions across the lifespan. The behavioral health nurse will facilitate coordination of care with multidisciplinary groups to optimize care plans, individual treatment plans and safe discharge. Registered nurse will demonstrate Trinity's principles and values when interacting with patients, families, visitors, providers and co-workers. Responsibilities: * Provide inpatient and emergency mental health services to assist people who are experiencing a mental health crisis. * Manages the overall psychiatric and medical care of the patient. * Assures follow-through of the treatment plan on all shifts. Qualifications: Education: * Graduate of accredited nursing program. License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. * Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Must possess and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training or obtain within 6 months from date of hire. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
