Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: This Registered Nurse specializing in anticoagulation management plays a critical role in promoting patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness by managing anticoagulant therapy under provider-approved protocols. This role ensures adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines through direct patient management to achieve optimal outcomes. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing * Experience: 6 months experience as a registered nurse in ambulatory healthcare setting * Licensure/ Certification: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license in good standing (Illinois). * Completion of OSF-approved Anticoagulation Nurse Clinic Education Course(s) (current or immediate enrollment upon hire). * Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. * Ability to work independently and travel between clinic sites as needed. * Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making. * Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record system.
