Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group - Waxhaw is seeking a full-time RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead!
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Join our team as an RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead in a smaller, close-knit office where you'll work alongside supportive providers committed to high-quality, team-based care. In this role, you will lead daily operations by coordinating staff schedules, onboarding and training new employees, and providing ongoing education and support to foster professional growth. You'll also perform triage, manage supply ordering to ensure seamless clinic operations, and step in to float or cover CMAs as needed, making a meaningful impact on both patient care and team success in a collaborative, positive environment.
The RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead is responsible for assisting Providers by preparing patients for medical exam, assessment, and telephone triage. In partnership with the clinic administrator, ensures implementation and success of NHMG goals, organizes and directs the clinical environment, and coordinates teams to assure effective care is given to provide quality patient care in physician practices. The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

* Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
* Conduct onboarding and training for new employees
* Provide ongoing training, support, and development for current staff
* Perform triage duties and prioritize patient or workflow needs as appropriate
* Oversee and manage supply ordering to maintain inventory levels
* Provide occasional support for CMAs supporting provider schedules
Qualifications:
* Education: Associates degree OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required.
* 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
* Additional Skills (required): Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem solving skills, operate personal computer.
