What You Can Expect:
The Administrative Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the medical center in collaboration with facility leadership and is the senior in-house administrative representative after hours for the medical center. The Administrative Supervisor assist with daily operations, collaborates with leadership, crisis management, staffing issues, and more.
* Lead with Purpose: Serve as the senior in-house administrative representative after hours, providing leadership, support, and expert problem-solving across all units.
* Drive Patient Flow & Staffing Excellence: Collaborate with the Transfer Center and department leaders to manage patient throughput and ensure optimal staffing levels.
* Crisis & Incident Response: Act as Incident Commander during emergencies and a key liaison for media, law enforcement, and community agencies.
* Champion Quality & Improvement: Support ongoing initiatives for operational excellence and patient-centered care.
Schedule: .9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) - Weekend Day Shift, 2 (12) hour shifts Saturday and Sunday 7am to 7pm plus 1 Weekday shift.

Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' clinical experience in assigned area
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the medical center in collaboration with facility leadership and is the senior in-house administrative representative after hours for the medical center. The Administrative Supervisor may also be required to utilize independent judgment for matters related to the direction of employees within the medical center.
* Provides day-to-day oversight. Is a resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports the department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources for optimal patient care outcomes.
* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Including the authority to discipline, assign or suspend other employees.
* Exercise this authority with independent judgment, ensuring actions are not merely routine or clerical in nature.
* Works collaboratively with the Transfer Center to facilitate the throughput of patients by developing plans for managing patient flow. Will place patients based on capacity and resource availability.
* Assists with coordination of schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
* Resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports the department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources.
* Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift.
* Apprises leadership of operational issues and seeks guidance as necessary.
* May serve as contact with members of the media, law enforcement, and other community agencies, in alignment with system policies. Serves as the Incident Commander during a disaster.
* Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff.
* Coordinates quality initiatives and process improvements.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 3 years' clinical experience in assigned area
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
