Responsibilities: Reports to: Restaurant Manager Primary Purpose: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to customers in the Winner's Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club. Responsibilities: * Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior lo opening. * Greet customers, present menus, inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings, make suggestions, answer questions and take beverage orders. * Process food and beverage orders In POS system. * Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner. * Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer. * Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions. * Assist bus staff with stocking, removing and resetting dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed. * Secure stations at end of shift, return all linens, condiments, dishes, glassware and flatware to appropriate areas. Qualifications: Education/Certifications: Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma. TABC certification required. Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in dining and be knowledgeable of the sequence of service and typical dining room procedures.
