Overview: To support all therapists (PT, OT, SLP, Wound Care) in patient care, distributing and maintaining equipment, and keeping the department neat and orderly. Position Reports To: Rehab Services Manager Responsibilities: * Transport patient safely and efficiently. * Set up treatment area appropriately with necessary equipment as instructed by therapist. * Work accurately and proficiently in Epic (the organization's electronic medical records program) to perform tasks, including basic reception scheduling practices, navigating referrals, managing in-basket messaging, navigating patient charts, and other Epic tasks/functions assigned to the Rehab Aide position. * Keep treatment area and gym neat and orderly. Clean equipment properly. * Neatly stock and rotate linen. * Assist therapist with patient treatment as requested. * Observe and report patient's general condition and any pertinent information about patient from other hospital staff. * Required to maintain current BLS certification. * Other duties as assigned. Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times. Qualifications: Required: * High school diploma or equivalent * Good organizational skills * Good interpersonal skills * Motivated, positive attitude * Must possess basic computer skills Desired: * Not Specified
