Responsibilities: Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Claim Prep & File Call Team - Government Location: Remote or On-Site Hourly Pay: $16 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk, M-F 8am-5pm Central JOB SUMMARY The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Claim Prep and File Call Team Representative: * Works with patients and patients' families to verify demographics and insurances including health insurance, first party coverage, and third-party liability. * Updates patient transport records when updated information. * Assists patients by answering pre-billing questions. * Works with team members to meet team goals and deadlines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES * Managing inbound and outbound call volume * Identifying patients' needs, clarifying information, and researching issues to provide solutions * Processing mail * Skip Tracing QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: * Minimum of one (1) year experience in a call center environment * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work Independently and as an active member of a team * Knowledge and experience of computers and related technology at an intermediate level * Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types * Professional verbal and written skills * Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time Preferred Experience: * Minimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position Preferred Education: * High school diploma * GED * Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
