Intern Program Details
What sets this program apart from others?
You'll join a community of interns and participate in events curated just for you, including skills workshops and intimate sessions with Executive leaders. You will be assigned a manager to guide and support you through our individualized GROW Professional Development process. You'll also receive a mentor to provide day-to-day advice as you become the best professional version of yourself.
How long is the program?
Our Internship Program begins May 2024 and runs through August 2024. You'll contribute to challenging projects with high impact during this 10 to 12-week paid internship.
In this role, you will
* Help with new system integration and documentation auditing and archiving.
* Gain experience in regulatory compliance and medical device industry.
* Learn about FDA regulations for post market compliance.
* Collaborate with team members to develop streamlined strategies and/or tools for monitoring submissions and related activities.
* Support the review and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support regulatory processes.
* Suggests and contributes to process improvements, including changes to software and business processes. Might require to participate on an internal project in updating regulatory data.
* Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with the team and other key stakeholders in the company to outline your accomplishments and experience during the internship.
In this role, you'll need
* To be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree with at least one quarter/semester to complete after internship.
* to be available to work full time during the summer months (May - August)
* to be present. This position is located in our Raleigh office and requires in-person attendance at the office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from May-August 2025. Relocation assistance is not provided.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
* To be detailed oriented and well-organized with great time management skills
* To be a critical thinker; able to actively analyze information with an open mind, confidence to ask questions, see things from different perspectives, and use logic to help form decisions.
* Must be enrolled in degree seeking program
Nice to haves:
* Involved inside and outside of the classroom
* Strong desire to expand skillset and experience
* Familiarity with MS Suite
* Familiarity with FDA regulations and/or regulated environments
* Skills to coordinate and manage a project, including multiple deliverables, milestones, timeline
