R&D Operating Mgr

Responsibilities:

* Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex firmware R&D projects for General Purpose Measurement Technology NPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets.
* Work closely with product management, hardware teams, and software engineering groups to define project requirements, development roadmaps, and release plans.
* Manage cross-functional project teams using Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies tailored to complex hardware-software systems.
* Create and maintain project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
* Ensure early and continuous collaboration between Software, Test and ODM partners.
* Monitor project progress and key performance indicators, proactively addressing risks and issues.
* Act as the central communication point for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, metrics, and escalations when needed.
* Foster a culture of innovation, high accountability, and continuous improvement in project execution and team collaboration.
* Contribute to the evolution of project management practices across the broader R&D organization.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of project management experience in software / firmware R&D.
* Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall) and embedded system development.
* Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is preferred.
* Experience managing projects involving complex interaction between hardware, embedded software, firmware, and application software.
* Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
* Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of Analog circuit principles, Linux, QT development, are a strong plus.
