Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate intern to join our Research and Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong curiosity for hardware test automation and software development, and will be eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects in a high-tech environment focused on the integration and interconnection of complex 4G/5G and future 6G devices.
The new intern will be involved in projects with a particular focus on software development for test automation and troubleshooting activities. This includes hands-on experience with modern development tools and methodologies used in the validation of embedded systems and electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development team in designing and implementing automated tests for hardware.
* Contribute to software development using programming languages such as C# and C++.
* Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Visual Studio by Microsoft and other internal tools.
* Collaborate with experienced engineers to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.
* Document test cases, testing strategies, and results.
Qualifications:
Requirements
* University student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
* Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Artifactory is a plus.
* Familiarity with automation/CI-CD tools such as pytest, Robot Framework, Eggplant, Jenkins.
* Familiarity with electronic measuring tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters).
* Familiarity with Linux and Unix-like operating systems.
* Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and solve problems proactively.
* Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
* Nice to have: Basic knowledge of TLC (Telecommunications) concepts and technologies.
