Technical Leadership in Cutting-Edge Product DevelopmentOverviewAs a Principal Software Engineer, you will play an essential role in shaping thetechnical direction of products designed for testing cutting-edge ultra-high speednetworks and AI Data Centres. Your expertise will be pivotal in steering the teamtowards innovative solutions, ensuring that the products remain at the forefront oftechnological advancements.You will be a technical champion for the team and a consultant to seniormanagement. Additionally, as a key member of the engineering team, you will beinvolved in all aspects of product development, including architecture, design,development, testing, and customer support.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for and hence should be able todemonstrate proficiency in most of the following: Architectural Expertise: Leading the definition and evaluation of architecturefor new and existing products, while assessing the customer and businessimpacts of design and technical decisions. Software Development and Problem Solving: Demonstrating strongsoftware development and debugging skills. Solving complex problems usingexpertise in algorithms and data structures, and understanding and workingwith large codebases is essential. Automation and Modern Software Development Workflow: Embracingscripting languages such as shell script, Perl, or Python to automate everydaytasks. Proven ability in Agile, Test Driven Development, API first approach, andDevOps workflows. Communication and Collaboration: Possessing strong verbal and writtencommunication skills, an open mind, and a readiness to learn. Workingeffectively both individually and as part of a team to achieve project goals withminimal guidance. Showcasing flexibility and openness to build strongcustomer engagements at senior technical levels. Continuous Learning: Showing a keen interest in technology, with the abilityto communicate effectively with opinionated technologists across the companyin emerging areas. Demonstrating readiness to learn on the fly and pick-upnew technology skills as required. Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends Leadership: Staying abreastof the latest advancements in technology and understanding how they can beleveraged to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications:

Skillset Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering,Information Technology, or a related field; MS in related field preferred. 8+ years of experience in product development with exposure to completeproduct development cycle. Strong software development skills. Should be proficient in C/C++/ Pythonprogramming & debugging in Linux environment. Understanding of Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud environments is expected. Networking Expertise: Preference to be given to candidates demonstratingstrong programming and domain knowledge in high performance network andsocket programming, protocol knowledge across L27 stack. Like TCP/IP, HTTP,QUIC, Routing, switching protocols
