Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities for FPGA Programmer (Hardware Speed Optimization Focus) * Design and implement high-performance FPGA logic to interface with external hardware systems, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput * Develop timing-critical modules using VHDL or Verilog to control motors, sensors, or other peripherals with precise speed regulation * Optimize data paths and clock domains to enhance real-time responsiveness and reduce bottlenecks in hardware communication * Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system-level requirements and ensure FPGA designs meet speed and performance targets * Integrate FPGA designs with embedded processors or microcontrollers, enabling dynamic control of external hardware speed * Conduct timing analysis and constraint tuning to meet setup/hold requirements and ensure stable operation under varying conditions. Qualifications: Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) * Solid understanding of digital logic design and embedded systems * Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus * Experience with hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) through coursework or personal projects * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and collaboration abilities Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. California Pay Range:USD $118,660.00- $125,340.00/Year Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
