Responsibilities:
This Quality Food Safety Supervisor position will be on night shift. In this role, you will lead Northwest Ordinance Distilling's effort to continually improve our Quality and Food Safety system. You'll get the chance to create and promote a culture of quality in the organization. You'll provide leadership and development to the laboratory technician team. This role's direct impact will be the improvement of Quality, teamwork, measurement, increase in consumer satisfaction, compliance with our 3rd party partners and government regulations, supporting our global expansion, and reducing costs.
What You'll Do
* Implement structured food safety training programs and maintain written standards tailored to departmental operations. Ensure documentation and practices consistently align with regulatory expectations.
* Build and manage a performance development system with routine evaluations, feedback sessions, and 360-degree input. Identify and track key skill development priorities for each team member.
* Establish processes to anticipate customer needs and resolve issues efficiently across all touchpoints. Strengthen communication channels to improve responsiveness and overall experience.
* Oversee initiatives that assess and enhance operational processes through both incremental and breakthrough improvements. Support adherence to U.S. TTB requirements within manufacturing environments.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree (STEM)
* Change management experience
* Strong planning, organizational, analytical and technical skills.
* Ability to prioritize and drive short- and long-term objectives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Food safety certification or proven experience working with global food safety standards
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles ( RCA, 5 why, Fishbone)
