Overview:
The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.
On-Site position in Kenosha Wi.
Day Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
* Provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes
* Conduct nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to implement corrective actions
* Engages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues
* Support new product quality plan implementations
* Ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework
* Support ISO 9001 QMS
* Other research or related activities as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
* High School or equivalent
* At least 2 years of work experience
* Fluent level of English (written and verbal)
Preferred Requirements:
* Six Sigma
Key Skills & Comptencies:
* Strong process adherence
* Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment
* Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
* Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision
* Intermediate problem solving skills
* Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry) is a plus
