				Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at our custom rubber manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet specified quality and reliability standards through inspections, measurements, and testing. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical drawings, measurement tools, and quality control processes.

-Salary range- $22.00per hour- $25.00 per hour

-Full Time- 8am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

* Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical documentation to determine quality and reliability standards.
* Collaborate with management and engineering teams to address quality concerns and establish inspection criteria.
* Compile and evaluate statistical data to monitor and maintain product quality and consistency.
* Conduct in-process and final inspections of rubber products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
* Document inspection results, report non-conformances, and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Validate data or flag deviations from standards through reports and quality documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
* Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality inspection preferred.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role, preferably in the rubber industry.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings.
* Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
* Strong math and analytical skills.
* Computer literate: familiarity with MS Office and quality management systems is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

* 
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Manual dexterity for operating measurement tools.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and rubber materials.
