Overview:
This position is physically located in Balad, Iraq
Under supervision of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Auditor Lead is responsible for performance monitoring of program functional areas. Quality Auditor Lead perform audit surveillances of Program internal procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of processes. Responsibilities also include gathering and analyzing data and recommending courses of action to improve performance or resolve problems. Ensures all quality systems comply with program standards. Enterprise Valued Analytics (EVA), V2X Associated Risk Management System (VARMS), SharePoint, management, checklist management, and other duties as assigned. Manage Internal / External Corrective Actions (ICAR/ECAR) Plans. Ensures all quality systems comply with program standards.
Responsibilities:

* Conducts audit surveillances in functional or operational areas as assigned
* Monitors program functions for compliance with the PWS & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
* Prepares audit/surveillance reports; assists in root cause analysis and development of corrective/preventive action plans as required; performs follow up audits to determine completeness and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
* Performs root cause research and analysis of process failures and product nonconformities.
* Monitors functional area internal inspection programs.
* Gathers data, conducts statistical and trend analysis; identifies process controls and performance metrics to assist in measuring process performance and continuous improvement.
* Audits operational areas in documenting processes, work instructions, and in identifying and managing required records.
* Provides reports to management relating to the quality program.
* Participate and facilitate, as required, in Quality partnering meetings with Internal and External Customers.
* Develops Functional Processes as requested by the Quality Manager to enhance operations.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* High School Diploma; ISO 9001: 2015 Auditor certification (or able to obtain)
* A valid driver's license
* Experience:
* 5 years in contracting environment, with a minimum of 5 years auditing experience highly desirable. Successful candidate must also show evidence of knowledge and experience in Six Sigma methodologies, and developing, implementing and managing continuous improvement projects.
* OCN Requirements:
* High School Diploma; ISO 9001: 2015 Auditor certification (or able to obtain)
* A valid driver's license
* 5 years in contracting environment, with a minimum of 5 years auditing experience highly desirable. Successful candidate must also show evidence of knowledge and experience in Six Sigma methodologies, and developing, implementing and managing continuous improvement projects.
* Must be able to read/write and speak English
* Skills:
* Candidate must possess expertise in one of the following functional areas:
* Information Management
* Fleet Maintenance
* Facility Maintenance
* US Base Security
* DMIAC Improvement methodologies
* Project Management (PMI) Methodologies
* Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
* Supervisory Responsibilities:
* May fill in as a Quality Professional as necessary.
* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
* Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
* Physical Requirements:
* Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
