Quality Auditor

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Required to pass all department tests (quality inspection, blueprint, gages, rulers and tools)
* Reads processing information to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications
* Observes workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards
* Observes and asks workers questions pertaining to job functions
* Must have knowledge of limit samples, check fixtures, go-no-go gages, quality key points, ruler, profilometer and calipers
* Writes and submits audit report to supervisory personnel
* Assist in development of operator/inspection documents for production
* Assist in development of quality audit plans
* Monitor use of all check fixtures, gauges and limit samples
* Monitor/audit SPC charts
* Monitor/assist production employees on the use of quality and reject reports as applicable to operation/inspection
* Must have good attendance and a solid safety record
* All other duties as assigned

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The level in the work environment is usually loud.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum High School Diploma or GED. 
* Must be able to properly maintain records and/or reports
* Must be able to communicate in English
