Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY, this position is responsible for facilitating/coordinating Justice Center, OPWDD, and SED investigations (including obtaining Center documentation, coordinating appointments, making notifications as required, and presenting assigned investigations to Incident Review Committee). They will act as liaison between this agency and outside agencies such as the Justice Center, OPWDD, and the local police. They will also attend the Investigator training course and maintain certifications and trainings as required. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also conduct staff trainings as related to Abuse, Neglect, and Incident Reporting, and will review parental/guardian complaints as assigned. This position will also assist the Quality Assurance department in policy development, and be a member or Chair of Quality Assurance-related committees.
Salary: $60405.84 annually

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
Experience: A minimum one year experience working with adolescents with developmental disabilities.
Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. Devereux fosters a culture of reporting abuse, and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
