Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Lead for our program with the US Coast Guard. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA and will be a hybrid remote position. Responsibilities: Conducts evaluation of software/systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation. Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software/system quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts. Reviews software/systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability. * Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed, applications throughout the full lifecycle. * Develops automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts and data set. * Participates in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing. * Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers and/or engineers to ensure the software or hardware development process has an appropriate level of testing. * Develops response strategies and processes for high-criticality and security vulnerability related bug notifications. * Pro-actively investigates and finds potential security holes and attack vectors within both the existing and newly-developed code base. Qualifications: Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience * Clearance Required: Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance Preferred Skills and Experience * US Coast Guard experience highly preferred M066
