QC Scheduler

				Overview:

OVERVIEW - Package Pavement, Inc., is seeking a Laboratory Scheduler to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating the quality assurance/quality control technical programs. These programs will link manufacturing to quality management system to maintain consistent, expected quality levels on all manufacturing platforms.

SALARY - $20 p/h

Responsibilities:

* Manage daily color planning and scheduling manufacturing requests.
* Maintain daily manufacturing schedule with the coordination of color processing
* Weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients to standard formulations.
* Preparing new colored mortar channels working with computerized matching software.
* Adding new formulas to the Master Batching software.
* Monitor to ensure inventory is up to date on colored finished goods.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory spectrophotometers.
* Maintain a database to ensure compliance of tolerances. 
* Coordinate and test in-house finished products.
* Follow internal protocols for all pre and post testing.
* Support internal audits.
* Support physical testing parameters.
* Communicate directly with plant supervisors.
* Maintain and enforce the safety program for the QA laboratories.
* Maintain a productive and safe working environment.
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1+ years' work experience in a manufacturing/Laboratory/Quality Control Environment.
* Strong computer skills required (Word, Excel and Email).
* Experience with implementing effective QA/QC programs.
* Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. without assistance.
* Experience with testing and reporting procedures.
* Detail oriented.
* Work involving a spectrophotometer or colorimeter is a plus.
* Prior experience in Quality Control is desired.
