QA Automation Engineer

As an Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop comprehensive test plans, and utilize automation frameworks to deliver high-quality software. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. 
* Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using appropriate testing frameworks. 
* Identify, analyze, and document software defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. 
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. 
* Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software delivery. 
* Maintain and manage automated test suites, ensuring they are up-to-date and align with application changes. 
* Monitor and analyze test results to provide insights into the product's quality and identify areas for improvement. 
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to enhance their testing skills and understanding of automation best practices. 
* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing to recommend and implement innovative solutions within the team. 

Responsibilities:

Mandatory experience:

* 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance with at least two years in automation testing 
* Experience in develop and maintain comprehensive test cases 
* Experience in maintaining and creating automated test scripts  
* Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 
* Experience in Front end testing  
* Experience in automation using object-oriented programming language like C#, Java, or JavaScript 
* Experience in API testing (tools like Postman or Rest Assured) 
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle. 
* Experience in executing manual tests to ensure software quality and identify defects. 
* Up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance. 
* Understands web services (REST) and underlying protocols (HTTP/S, TCP/IP) 

Nice to have:

* ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certification 
* Experience in working with 3D software's 
* Experience in training and mentorship of junior QA team members 
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
* Experience with SQL queries or database testing 
* Experience of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). 

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience 
* Fluency in English (spoken/written) 
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
