Do you enjoy working with a range of people and businesses? As a purchaser for Mammoet you will be developing and maintaining a network of vendors to ensure we can source the best and most cost-effective equipments, tools, resources in line with our business requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and managing all aspects of purchasing
* Analyzing and identifying project requirements
* Ensuring purchasing flawlessly supports project execution
* Selecting vendors and negotiating terms
* Ensuring goods and services are purchased in line with business objectives
* Create and implement continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Logistics. A procurement qualification such as CIPS is preferred.
* 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a technical setting, with evidence of experience in a similar role. Experience in civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, and mining is ideal. Relevant project management and/or construction organization experience is sought after and will be considered transferable.
* Expert-level experience in negotiation and professional-level experience in contract management, project management, and purchasing systems.
* Proven experience in establishing framework agreements with suppliers, effectively functioning as contracts.
* Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
* Working experience in SAP.
* A self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is results-driven.
