As our Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider, you will join our growing Pulmonary team at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Every day you will play a vital role in supporting general pulmonary patients. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider with a passion for complex respiratory care and an eagerness to contribute to a cutting-edge service.
* Providing comprehensive direct care for both general pulmonary and interventional pulmonology patients.
* Conducting thorough histories and physicals (H&Ps), ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating precise diagnoses.
* Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Assisting with patient selection, education, and follow-up.
* Educating patients and families extensively on disease management, treatment protocols, and various procedures.
* Working closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, integrated, and collaborative care.
* Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records, ensuring comprehensive documentation of patient care.
* Actively participating in a supportive practice environment, contributing to a collaborative team culture focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
Required
* Master's in Nursing from an accredited NP program or Physician Assistant studies.
* Ability to obtain a Tennessee NP and RN license(s), or Tennessee Physician Assistant license.
* 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required
* 1-3 years previous experience as a NP/PA in an acute or primary care setting
* American Heart Association BLS
Preferred
* Previous pulmonary experience
