Responsibilities:

- Establish a pleasant rapport with internal and external guests. 

- Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards. 

- Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation, and ongoing knowledge of new drink trends. 

- Responsible for mixing and serving beverages directly to bar patrons as well as in a service station capacity to beverage/food servers as venue requires. 

- Accurate and efficient use of POS system. 

- Track usage and inventory and order stock to maintain established pars. 

- Maintain awareness of guest alcohol intake following RAMP guidelines. 

- Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards. 

- At end of shift restock station for start of next shift.

 - Maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with Food & Beverage Grooming Standards at all times. 

- Participate as a team member with all servers, barbacks, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations. 

- Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/GED. - 0-6 months of bartending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. 

- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. 

- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.

 - Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from guests. 

- Must have the ability to perform basic math skills. 

- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. 

- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.). 

- Basic computer knowledge; ability to operate POS systems. 

- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  

- Must be able to obtain proper food handler certification and RAMP certification.
