Responsibilities:
SUMMARY
Serve cocktails to customers and clean tables to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. Increase the revenue of the company by providing excellent service to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Take orders and serve drinks to customers. Include icing glasses, finishing set-ups, and garnishing.
* Clean and maintain station, trade out ashtrays, remove trash, wipe tables, remove empty glasses, push in chairs, etc.
* Do public relations for the company, sell the casino and landing (i.e., know their respective products and up sell), and answer guest questions.
* Operate cash register, take money and make change, make deposit at the end of shift.
* Perform side work, make coffee and tea, stock and clean waitress station, cappucino machines, etc.
* Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
* Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
* Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
* Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
* Any reasonable request made by a supervisor or any management personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
