				Overview:

The Psychologist, Ph.D. (Non-Academic) is responsible for providing age-appropriate clinical services to patients; assisting in training of medical students and residents; providing supervision for psychology practicum students, interns and post-doctoral fellows; participating in departmental and other meetings; maintaining records; participating in the Department?s rotating on-call coverage; and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

* Provides age-appropriate clinical services to patients of Children's Hospital and others as appropriate; clinical services provided include, but are not limited to: psychological and behavioral assessments, consultation, therapeutic interventions, and participation on clinical service teams. 
* Assists in training medical students and residents through conferences, formal lectures, rounds and individual consultations and electives.
* Supervises clinical services provided by practicum students, psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows.
* Participates in the formal training of interns and post-doctoral fellows by presenting lectures as assigned.
* Maintains records on all patients served in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Participate in meetings and serves on committees with Children's Hospital and the community as appropriate.
* Participates in Departmental rotating on-call coverage after hours.
* Participates in research as appropriate.
* Performs miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Ph.D. degree in clinical or school psychology from an accredited university. A pediatric psychology internship and post-doctoral training or experience in pediatric psychology is highly desirable. Must obtain Ohio Psychology license when eligible and within 6 months from your date of hire.
