Qualifications:
Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts in our Charlotte Region hospitals
Opportunity Highlights:
* 12 hour day shift
* Option to pick up call
* Weekend and weekday shifts available
* Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients in our behavioral health unit
* Option to pick up shifts at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC and Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC
Candidate Qualifications:
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
* Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
* Current MD license in appropriate state
* Current DEA license required
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Patient population: 18+ for acute care
* Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
* Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
