Overview: Mindful Health Solutions (MHS) is seeking full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our Sacramento area offices. Founded in 2008, Mindful Health Solutions provides comprehensive mental health care with innovative, evidence-based treatment options. At the core of our mission, we're a "patients first," insurance-based organization with accessible psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with MHS providers and Operations Directors in communicating about same-day and on-site clinical coverage of shared patients * Provide same-day (or within 48 hours) clinic appointments for all MHS patients in the state of CA who are not able to see their regular MHS clinician due to clinician absence or should they have an urgent question or concern that cannot be addressed by regular clinician due to schedule constraints. * In addition to psychiatric assessments and treatments, on-site clinical coverage would also be for Esketamine for all our Sacramento Areas clinics (Elk Grove, Fairfield, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Sacramento, and Stockton). * Communicate proactively with MHS providers around patient care and treatment planning COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: * Salary Range: $142,500-$195,000/year * Incentive plans * Generous signing bonus * Four weeks of PTO * Paid CME hours (in addition to accrued PTO) * 401K with a 4% match * Comprehensive health/dental/vision/disability insurance plans * Malpractice insurance * License and DEA renewal Qualifications: * PMHNP Board Certified * Active and unrestricted California Medical License * Flexibility in traveling in the Sacramento area on short notice (same-day) including willingness to work out of the various clinics for the day on short notice and willingness to carry a varying clinical load day-to-day based on urgent/emergent needs * Able to work with a variety of patient presentation with same-day psychiatric needs, initiate or change treatment plans appropriately, evaluate for acute safety/acuity and communicate proactively with MHS providers * Enjoys working in a dynamic environment. * Experience in emergency psychiatry or psychiatric urgent care preferred * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders * Organized, motivated and confident in working in an urgent-care style setting * Comfortable working on a Telepsychiatry platform * Willingness to be trained in the administration of Intranasal Esketamine
