Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our team!
This proactive Proposal Speicalist will assist with the coordination and management of qualifications and marketing proposals. While supporting firm qualifications and proposal pursuits, which includes working closely with the Proposal Manager to gather appropriate material/information needed to meet the requirements of the submittal by the designated deadlines. This includes assembling and packaging proposals/ documents from inception through final product.
Please note that for this role, we are specifically looking for individuals who can work on-site from one of our New Jersey office locations. This ensures alignment with team operations and supports effective communication across departments.
Responsibilities:
* InDesign experience preferred.
* Must be detail-oriented and organized.
* Over 5 years' experience working at an A/E/C firm as a Proposal Coordinator.
* Experience using Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & PowerPoint.
* Strong writing and editing skills.
* Familiar with New Jersey State Agencies - NJTPA, NJDOT.
* Knowledge of Unanet/Cosential (CRM) a plus but not required.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of procurement and RFP/SOQ processes.
* Strong interpersonal/communication skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Coordinate and manage the marketing process, all pursuits from start to finish.
* Assist with maintaining and updating corporate firm information for use in Firm Qualifications.
* Schedules and facilitates proposal kick-off meeting, compiles, and distributes meeting notes, action items, and review comments from all proposal meetings.
* Ability to provide follow up on submitted opportunities.
* Coordinate with subconsultants as needed.
* Maintain and update Unanet/Cosential (CRM) which includes, opportunities and qualifications.
* Special Project Assignments as directed by Proposal Manager.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $65,000-$90,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
