Job Title: Proposal Development Manager II

Contract: 3 Month FTC

Workplace: Hybrid - 2 days in office per week in Hemel Hempstead Office

Hours: 35

Reports to: Director, Engagement Proposals (based in US)

Overview of Role

This is a 3 Months FTC, IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE

This role is responsible for developing and managing a wide range of business proposals-including RFPs, RFIs, and ad hoc submissions-by collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate opportunities and craft compelling, strategic responses that articulate BHN's value proposition. In addition to proposal writing, the position supports integrated messaging and content development across the Marketing department, contributing to knowledge management and ensuring consistency in client communications.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

* Assess and prioritize RFIs, RFPs, and ad hoc proposals for strategic fit and legitimacy; lead bid/no-bid decision-making.
* Write, coordinate, and manage proposals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with BHN's branding and messaging.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Legal) to gather input and align on content strategy.
* Ensure all proposal content is accurate, compelling, error-free, and delivered on time to meet client requirements.
* Oversee the creation of high-quality proposal graphics and maintain a central repository of reusable content and templates.
* Continuously improve proposal development tools, processes, and knowledge management practices.
* Provide editorial and content support for marketing initiatives, including white papers and collateral tied to proposals.
* Support capture planning, competitive analysis, and value proposition development for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or business communications.
* Background in technology, consulting, finance, or other professional services industries.
* Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside high-performing sales and marketing teams.
* Exceptional writing and editing abilities; must be able to produce clear, compelling content across diverse topics (writing samples required).
