Responsibilities: The Property Claims Associate is responsible for, but not limited to: * Investigating losses and determining coverage while providing superior customer service * Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and records * Establishing damages and reserves * Processing payments * Taking statements from insureds and witnesses * Evaluating policies and contract language to identify coverage issues * Drafting no coverage letters Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with the following: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational and computer skills * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize * The ability to make decisions independently and to multitask * Prior experience adjusting property claims is preferred, but not required * Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but a High School Diploma or GED is required * If not already licensed, must be able to successfully pass Texas Adjuster licensing exam upon hire and to obtain and maintain any other adjuster licenses as required
