Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* Your daily responsibilities include:
Responsible for fostering a fun environment
Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in events
Responsible for the management of all property Special Events & Promotions to include slot tournaments, promotions, drawings and VIP events.
Provides oversight of communications for promotional efforts for guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
Develops and coordinates all aspects of each special event from conception to implementation and assists in conducting on-site promotions.
Prepares prize schedules for events in accordance with the event budget.
Coordinates ordering of all gifts, décor, prizes and collateral material needed for events.
Prepares various reports to assist in post event analysis and compiles monthly forecast and maintains budget.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events and special offers throughout the property.
Responsible for supervising and managing staff in Promotions Department: Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in defined area.
Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
Maintains exceptional knowledge of the market
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
Enhances guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications:
* To be successful in this position it will require the following skill-set:
Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Must enjoy hosting others
Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
3-5 years in progressively more challenging roles in marketing, with at least one year with responsibility for event planning.
Two years' experience managing teams or business units.
Familiarity with player tracking software required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to understand and analyze Budget and P&L Statements.
Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required.
Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
