Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Research Project Manager operates under the direction of principal investigators. Is responsible for the planning and execution of educational and translational research activities related to OSF, OSF's Jump Simulation Program, OSF Innovation, and other relevant collaborative projects, including external entities and the IAI. This individual will plan and oversee the management of research projects from concept to completion. The Research Project Manager is responsible for maintaining study compliance with all Institutional Review Board (IRB) and OSF Compliance policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
3 years of experience in project management, including oversight of regulatory, personnel, finances, and communications for projects of significant complexity and/or proven certification of experience of project management.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Knowledge of research regulatory bodies and compliance, FDA rules and regulations, IRB processes and procedures.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple functional areas.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills related to scientific information, including communication of results to internal stakeholders and peer reviewed forums (journals and other publications).
* Proficient with software packages including, but not limited to, MS Office (Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and proficiency in developing and maintaining databases.
* Proficient in the use of survey software. Strong analytical and technical skills necessary to collect, manage, and interpret data, and to collaborate with internal and external statisticians in study design, coding and cleaning data, and conducting preliminary analysis.
* Must have strong leadership interpersonal skills necessary to maintain cooperative working relationships with Jump Simulation employees, Medical Center employees, community physicians, collaborating institutions, and research staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's degree in the sciences, including MPH, MSCR, MHPE, MEng, etc. Formal training in project management such as coursework, certifications, etc
Experience:
* Research or Academia Research
* Project Management: traditional PM, having handled complex, high-stakes projects
* Academia: experience working w/University faculty in research, large projects, day to day operations
